Despite gray skies and drizzle children from the Nova Scotia Community College's Cumberland Campus daycare still got out to get some fresh air and explore Springhill this morning.

Today's weather: Becoming cloudy then 60 percent chance of showers late this morning and early this afternoon. Clearing late this afternoon. Wind southwest 20 km/h becoming northwest 20 gusting to 40 this morning. High 15. UV index 3 or moderate.

Night: Clear. Wind northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming light overnight. Low plus 3 with patchy frost.
