Zarlink Semiconductor books US$10.3M profit in Q1, reversing year-earlier loss

OTTAWA - Zarlink Semiconductor (TSX:ZL), which reports its results in U.S. dollars, says first-quarter profit totalled US$10.3 million or seven cents a share versus a year-earlier loss of $516,000 or a penny a share. Revenue increased to $58.7 million from $49.7 million.
