AMHERST - Sackville's Robert Fillmore scored three in the first and four in the third end to topple the previously undefeated Howie Gray rink of Amherst 8-4.
With the victory Fillmore moved into a third place tie with a 4-3 record, while Gray remains on top of the standings sporting a 6-1 record.
In other action, Keith Brownell shutout Kevin Boyart 8-0, Dave Girouard topped Dave Acton 7-1, and Doug Oulton edged Mike Bass in an extra end 10-9. In addition, Bill Tapley defeated Bob Tower 12-3, and Amherst's Ray Fowler improved to 4 and 3 by topping Mike Stokes 9-6.
League action will resume on Jan. 2, following a break for the festive season.
