BROOKFIELD - Ryan Ackles had a goal and three assists and Tyler Landry a goal and an assist as the Cumberland County Bordertown Pontiac Huskies defeated the Brookfield Elks 5-4 in exhibition bantam AA action on Sunday.
Jerico MacPhee, Stephen Belyea and Brett Gallant each scored once while Jordan Mont, Peter Kane, Trystin Boss and Kirk Hamilton each had assists.
On Saturday in Amherst, Ryan Ackles and Zack Perrin each scored two goals and added one assist as the Huskies defeated Brookfield 7-2.
Kyle MacDonald and Alex VanSnick each had a goal and an assist while Peter Kane had a goal. Stephen Belyea had two assists while Trystin Boos, Jerico MacPhee, Tyler Landry and Matt Beal each had single assists.
The Huskies are in Westville on Saturday to face the Pictou County Crushers while the two teams meet Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Amherst Stadium
